Radioactive clock nuclei such as those of Be, Al, and Cl allow a distinction between the amount of material in the ISM encountered by the cosmic radiation and the lifetime of the cosmic radiation. Numerically solving in the time domain the coupled differential equations which govern the transport of the cosmic radiation, we consider the consequence of an inhomogeneous ISM on the relative abundances of radioactive clock nuclei.
