The paper considers the diffuse reflecting boundary conditions and
arbitrary distributions of the internal energy source as connected with
the source-free problem with isotropic boundary conditions. Albedos are
calculated using the bivariational technique. Attention is given to both
homogeneous and inhomogeneous media.
