The increasing proportion of double stars makes necessary the development of specific double star databases. The caracteristics of these databases are the results of the application of various techniques to resolve the components of stellar systems. They are devoted to a specific type of double stars or give the synthetic data for various categories of stellar systems. We present a general discussion of the data related to double stars and describe a few examples of databases for these objects.
