Pygmy resonances in light nuclei excited in electron scattering are
discussed. These collective modes will be explored in future electron-ion
colliders such as ELISe/FAIR (spokesperson: Haik Simon - GSI). Response
functions for direct breakup are explored with few-body and hydrodynamical
models, including the dependence upon final state interactions.
