Ptychography is a CDI technique, which was originally developed in the late 1960s in the context of electron microscopy and crystallography. The applicability to X-ray microscopy has been recently demonstrated and significant progress has been made in scanning X-ray diffraction microscopy (SXDM). We report on SXDM studies of biological specimens, including both soft and hard tissues.
