The propagation of galactic-cosmic-ray modulation effects from the sun to the boundary of the modulation region is investigated on the basis of analytical and numerical treatments. It is shown that the propagation velocity of these effects is equal to twice the solar wind velocity when the modulation time change is described by a periodic symmetric function.
