We investigate the effect of viscosity and magnetic diffusivity on the propagation and dissipation of Alfvén waves in coronal holes and underlying magnetic funnels, making use of MHD equations, density, temperature and magnetic field structures. Our preliminary results show that damping length scale, group velocity and energy flux density depend on the direction of Alfvén wave propagation, thereby suggesting the horizontal temperature inhomogeneity in coronal holes and underlying magnetic funnels.
