This paper describes the development, production, and test results of a large-surface lightweight mirror shell for one of the ESA's XMM Telescope mirrors. A full size mirror shell representative for the XMM mirror shell NO. 40 was produced using sophisticated replication and separation techniques. The performance results of the mirror shell are presented.
