The measurements of partial production crosssections of he multiple helium fragments emitted in 14.5 28 Si Em interactions are reported. The production rate of helium fragments due to fragmentation of, 28 Si ions is studied and compared with that obtained for various incident ion projectile at different energies . The dependence of < Na > on the mass number of the incident beams is formulated. The multiplicity distributions of the helium fragments produced in 14.6 and 3.7 A GeV 28 Si as well as 200 A GeV 32 S exhibit KNO scaling .
