The energy spectra of cosmic-ray muons in the 3-30 TeV energy region were determined using X-ray emulsion chambers at an underground depth of 1000 g/cu cm. It is shown that the intensity of the vertical flux is higher than expected in the region of gamma-ray energies exceeding 10 TeV, which may be due to the contribution of rapidly generated muons. It may be that the steepening of the spectrum of muons from pi- and K-decay is masked by the fragmentation of rapidly generated muons.
