The Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) spacecraft experiences measurable drag
due to Mars' exosphere (where the science phasing orbits (SPO) had their
perifocus). A measurable decrease in both semi-major axis (60 km) and
eccentricity (0.002) is measured over the 290 orbits of SPO.
