The Precision Array to Probe the Epoch of Reionization (PAPER) is an experiment dedicated to detecting the 21-cm signal of neutral hydrogen at a redshifts 7 to 11, or at the time that the first galaxies were forming. Working with an interferometer at low frequencies (100 MHz - 200 MHz) is made more challenging by the refractive properties of the ionosphere. The 16-antenna PAPER array in Green Bank, West Virginia, has allowed us a first look at the effects of the ionosphere on our data analysis. We present the changes in bright source positions as probes of the changes in the TEC (total electron content) along the lines of sight between the array and the sources, particularly as longer baselines are added to the array. We discuss the implications that these measurements make on models of the ionosphere and calibration schemes that will be needed to compensate for these effects in mapping, source subtraction, and EoR detection.
