I will present the ongoing efforts to construct a small sub-millimeter ( 100GHz) telescope for solar and atmospheric research at Oberlin College. This Schottky diode-based single pixel spectrometer is intended mainly as a teaching instrument, although we hope to obtain a publishable long-term vertical mixing profiles of significant molecules such as O3 and CO.
