The toy model of Ref. [1] for the lowest and the next-to-lowest lying
scalar/pseudoscalar mesons is briefly reviewed. This model, which is in
the context of the linear sigma model and is formulated in terms of two
meson nonets, provides a possible description of the mass and quark
substructure of these mesons. .
