An analysis is presented of multiyear series of magnetic and corpuscular indices of the magnetospheric ring current obtained from Northern Hemisphere stations. The data indicate that, in summer (June-July), the nightime region of the low or moderate intensity ring current is situated to the south of the neutral surface of the geomagnetic field, whereas the high-intensity ring current region is situated to the north of it.
