Consideration is given to the O-18, O-17 mass independent isotopic enrichment that accompanies O3 formation. In order to study the potential role of the activated complex liftime, the effect of pressure in the region where third body kinetic fall-off occurs is measured. The decrease in O3-(O-18) enrichment with increasing pressure initiates at a lower pressure than predicted by the reaction order pressure dependency.
