The MINOS experiment will study neutrino oscillations occurring in a
neutrino beam produced at Fermilab and interacting 735 km away in a
large detector placed in the Soudan Underground Laboratory. The present
status of construction of the experiment will be described as well as
the design and goals of the experiment.
