Processing of rentgenographic films exposed in an emulsion stack revealed the presence of four families of gamma quanta with energies above 500 TeV. Also present were 130 families with energies above 30 TeV. In addition, a preliminary study of the stack material revealed eight families with energies above 500 TeV. By removing the emulsion from one side of the rentgenographic films, and using specially underdeveloped films, it proved possible to resolve electron-photon cascades even at the center of large families.
