The paper deals with space-borne measurements from a 500-km polar quasi-circular orbit of proton, alpha-particle, and (C, N, and O) nuclei fluxes at energies up to 100 keV/nucleon. Measurements were made with high-speed proportional counters, directed in a manner suitable for recording captured and quasi-captured particles as well as precipitating particles. Plots of the proton and alpha-particle fluxes versus L are analyzed.
