A technique of image scale determination is proposed which is effective for systems with a small field of view. The measurement scheme is based on a Michelson stellar interferometer with a laser as the light source. The uncertainty of scale calibration was as low as 0.01 percent in binary-star observation by means of speckle interferometery using a 70-cm reflector.
