Based on interface properties HTPB propellant , the crosslink level is regulated through changing the temperature and time of cure reaction. The remainder functions take place chemical reaction to form chemical bonds and hydrogen bond, which improve the mechanical properties of resultant. Pre-cure technique and bonding model are described in this paper. They can be used in propellant-liner bonding, propellant loading and integral repairing of the propellant grain for the solid rocket motor (SRM). These test results have been qualified by the successful firing tests, flight tests of motor and storage tests of specimen for ten-years. The performances of the motor can be satisfied with design requirements and are reproducibility . Key words Pre-cure technique, HTPB propellant, solid rocket motor.
