BL LAC (VRO 42.22.01) is a strange source of radio, infrared and visual radiation. The radio spectrum has been investigated1 and rapid variations of radio frequency radiation have been found2-5. The continuum at visual and near infrared wavelengths has been described6,7 and the optical continuum is markedly polarized6. Rapid variations of the visual radiation on time scales as short as 1 day have recently been reported8.
