The paper examines possible schemes for the variational support of aeromagnetic surveys involving the use of a base magnetic-variation station and the determination of transfer coefficients. These schemes make it possible to take into account anomalies of the variable geomagnetic field. An example of transfer-coefficient determination is presented.
