Vega 1 and 2 measurements indicated the presence of strong MHD turbulence in the vicinity of Comet Halley. The cometocentric-distance dependence of the solar-wind parameters in the vicinity of the near-cometary shock wave is examined for various positions of the Vega probes in relation to the comet. In addition, the oscillation spectra of electric and magnetic fields of plasma waves in the vicinity of the near-cometary shock front are analyzed.
