Polarization measures at the H-beta and Ca II K lines of 25 late-type stars (mainly K spectral type) are assessed for intrinsic polarizations and polarimetric changes across their spectral features. The detectivity of normalized Stokes parameters ranges from about + or - 0.0002 to + or - 0.0020 for H-beta and from + or - 0.0005 to + or - 0.0050 for Ca II K. Changes across the H-beta line were detected in Epsilon Boo and Mu Leo, both exhibiting small enhanced polarizations at the line center. An H-beta line center polarization may also be present in Beta Gem. These enhancements may be associated with fluorescence effects of atomic hydrogen in circumstellar clouds. An increase in line center and red continuum polarizations for Ca II K was detected in the supergiant Eta Per, with possible line center enhancements also existing in Alpha Hya and the giant Epsilon Peg. These effects may be consistent with calcium radiation asymmetries within the stellar systems. There is some evidence that the reported H-beta polarization effects are time dependent.
