The polar-cap radius (PCR) is determined on the basis of a method that
employs characteristic differences in the intensity distribution of
high-latitude long-period geomagnetic pulsations. The PCR is studied as
a function of the parameters of the interplanetary medium and the AE
index for quiet and disturbed conditions.
