The pitch-angle distribution of precipitating electrons in the outer radiation belt is determined in the framework of the approximation of total absorption in the earth atmosphere, and the dependence of this distribution on the mode of equatorial diffusion and the particle energy is investigated. The distribution function in the loss cone is determined on the basis of the dispersion equation for ELF and VLF waves. Values of the intensity of the electron source for which the distribution is isotropic are determined.
