New observational data, obtained on the Carlsberg Automatic Meridian Circle between May 1988 and December 1989 on 48 asteroids have been analyzed. In addition, all of the previous asteroid data obtained by the Carlsberg have been reanalyzed so that a uniform procedure is used for all the data. It has been assumed that a given asteroid will possess the same value of G at all oppositions but that the value of H will vary from opposition to opposition. For the 27 asteroids of type S, the mean value of G is 0.224 +/- 0.037, slightly higher than mean values previously obtained.
