From December 1978 to May 1979, spectrographic observations were made of Phi Per, Zeta Tau and Kappa Dra using a 60/90 Schmidt Cassegrain grating spectrograph. Values of electron density, rotational speed and V/R variation have been obtained and a comparison between Zeta Tau and the supergiant Beta Ori carried out. It is found that, over this observed period, Phi Per showed clear shell activities, Zeta Tau was in a relatively calm phase, its shell slowly expanding, while Kappa Dra had all the signs of a classical Be star.
