The results of photographic investigations and visual observations of the mirror image of the sun, created by the earth's atmosphere, from the Soyuz-13 spacecraft are presented. An estimate of the experimental values of the vertical reflection coefficient of the earth's atmosphere at grazing angles of 5-10-min gives a value of about 50%, in satisfactory agreement with the data calculated from the Fresnel formula.
