The IO(2Pi3/2,2Pi1/2;v-prime) + e(-) - IO(-)(1Sigma/+/;v-double prime) spectrum is obtained via photoelectron spectroscopy. The 351.1 nm photoelectron spectrum of IO(-) taken at the 'magic angle' is shown. Unknown molecular constants for IO(-) and IO are determined from Franck-Condon simulations of the spectrum for each of the electronic transitions observed.
