Phosphate glass track detectors were exposed on Skylab in antisolar and solar facing orientations. Preliminary results on composition and energy spectra of VH ions were obtained on one solar oriented detector. The energy spectra represent averages over the Skylab orbits. Fe group ions are the dominant component (energy exponent about -2) followed by the slightly steeper Ca and Si group spectra. A significant difference in the shapes of total VH spectra was observed for the antisolar exposure (June 23-July 28, 1973) and the solar exposure (Aug. 6-Aug. 28, 1973). This is probably due to a temporary change of the energy spectra of ions, trapped in the earth's magnetic field.
