The oscillatory flow in the boundary layer of a hot plasma is addressed as applicable to the astrophysical problem. A perturbation series expansion solution is developed for the problem and the various approximate solutions are integrated in closed form. It is found possible to obtain higher approximate solutions where steady state streaming solutions appear.
