The heat transfer in the boundary layer over a hot porous semi-infinite flat plate for a two-component plasma model is computed using an asymptotic series expansion for large suction. The temperature distribution and the Nusselt number are compared with those of a fully-ionized plasma, with and without thermal radiation. Radiative effect increases the range of influence of the temperature and the value of the Nusselt number.
