Photoelectric observations of R CMa (BD-16 deg 2898) obtained in the V and B bands with the 31-cm refractor at Nizamiah Observatory on 14 nights in 1979-1980 and with the 1.2-m reflector at Japal-Rangapur Observatory on 34 nights in 1980-1982 are compiled in a table with previously published observations (including 94 visual observations) and used to determine the O-C curve and the elements of the light-time orbit. These include period 91.44 yr, eccentricity 0.45 + or 0.08 (standard error), periastron longitude 25 + or - 30 deg, and corrected semiamplitude of O-C variation 0.029 + or 0.001 d. R CMa is characterized by a normal F2 V primary of 1.52 solar mass, binary-system mass 1.719 + or - 0.003 solar mass, triple-system mass function 0.02 solar mass, and third-body mass 0.54 solar mass or 0.46 solar mass for orbital inclination 60 or 90 deg, respectively. The determination of the nature of the third body (M dwarf or white dwarf) requires further observations in the extreme UV and far IR.
