The temperature of the CMS Electromagnetic Calorimeter has to be controlled at the level of 0.1°, in order to keep the constant term in the energy resolution below 0.5%. A prototype with the final cooling system has been tested, to check its integration with the readout electronics and verify that it complies with the severe thermal requirements. The thermal performance of the cooling system is reported here.
