The spectral line receiving system at the 13.7 m radio telescope at the Metsahovi Radio Research Station is described. A cooled low noise Schottky mixer receiver in 72-115 GHz range is employed. The back end system comprises three acoustooptical spectrometers (AOS) with bandwidths of 11 MHz, 100 MHz, and 600 MHz, of which only the 11 MHz AOS has been described previously in a referred article. Active frequency stabilization has been realized for the spectrometers, and is described here in detail for the first time. A description of the receiver and back end system and the results of performance measurements are given. As a result of active stabilization an excellent frequency stability has been achieved, amounting to +/- 0.005, +/- 0.003, and +/- 0.01 in units of resolution bandwidth for the 11, 100, and 600 MHz AOS, respectively. Special measures have been taken to eliminate background light and prevent interference fringe patterns. Tests of the noise performance of the three AOS show that cycle times of greater than 250 s are achieved.
