Scientific paper

The performance of a module of the CMS forward pixel detector irradiated
up to a maximum dose of 45 Mrad was investigated at a beam test at
Fermilab. The conclusion is that the CMS forward pixel detector can
easily tolerate this radiation dose without any impact on the CMS
physics performance.
