The Parkes 64m radio telescope1 was used over four observing periods of about 10-14 days each (June 1993, April 1994, July 1995 and September 1996). Here, we report on the observations that cover the Crux and Great Attractor Zone of Avoidance regions. A detailed description of the observational set-up is given in Paper I (Kraan-Korteweg et al. 2002, Cat. J/A+A/391/887).
