Present and past Parker Lecturers, who are Bowie Lecturers of AGU's
Space Physics and Aeronomy (SPA) section, gathered at the Joint Assembly
in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of
the publication of Eugene Parker's famous paper predicting the existence
of the supersonic solar wind (see Figure 1).
