A number of new values for the radius of the ancient Earth is calculated from palaeomagnetic data, using Egyed's palaeomeridian method. The discrepancies between earlier values for the Permian radius of the earth are considered. The influence of possible inclination errors in sedimentary rocks upon calculations of the ancient Earth's radius is investigated. A summary is given of all valid values for ancient Earth radii, including those obtained by other palaeomagnetic methods. The results show that large expansion rates are implausible.
