We calculate P-odd difference of the total cross-sections of the deuteron
disintegration by left and right polarized photons. The relative magnitude of
this difference in the threshold region is about 10^{-7}. Its experimental
measurement would give valuable information on the weak nucleon-nucleon
interaction at short distances.
