The role of a specific atmospheric condition (low air pressure) over South Pole in the stratospheric gas-phase photochemistry has been investigated based on analysis and photochemical numerical modeling. The results show a strong correlation between air pressure deficit over polar region and column ozone. The ozone content after sunrise in Antarctica is found to have reduction which looks like ``ozone hole''. So, it is possible to obtain some simplified solutions from gas-phase stratospheric photochemical system if annual cycle in pressure is taken into account. The physical explanation of this effect is based on Chapman ozone theory.
