Mean vanadium valences determined by microXANES for gas-rich impact-melt
(GRIM) glasses in EET79001 ranged from 3.0 to 3.6. Mean fO2 ranged from
IW-1.2 to IW+1.4. Variable oxidation state is consistent with impact
reduction of regolith precursors.
