The High Resolution Fly's Eye cosmic ray observatory is used to detect
and study the highest energy particles. An overview of cosmic ray
physics and our detector will be presented. Flouresence light detection,
calibration and atmospheric considerations along with an introduction to
our data analysis will be shown.
