We discuss cosmic-ray acceleration in Galactic and extragalactic sources
and transport in cosmic magnetic fields. Discussion includes the
acceleration in supernova shocks, the collective effects of cosmic rays
in the Galaxy, the nature of ``knee'' in cosmic ray spectrum, the
transition to extragalactic component, and the acceleration by AGN jets.
