The emission of Very High Energy (VHE) gamma rays from Cen X-3 in the orbital phase interval between 0.7 to 0.8 is discussed. This object was observed during 1986, 1988, and 1989 using the Potchefstroom (South Africa) TeV gamma ray telescope. The analysis of the data confirms this pulsed emission in the orbital phase interval 0.7 to 0.8. This modulation is probably due to an accretion wake that crosses the line of sight at an orbital phase of about 0.75 presenting the necessary target material for the production of this emission.
