General equations of motion are derived for a satellite with two gyroscopes using the theory of gyroscopic precession. Conditions are obtained for the zero-position equilibrium of a satellite in a circular orbit, and the stability of such equilibrium is analyzed. Values of the gyroscope parameters are determined which yield maximum response from the orientation system.
