Accurate optical positions to be used for radio comparison studies are presented for 84 stellar (unresolved) planetary nebulae north of declination -19 deg. Positions were derived by the fitting of computer-plotted transparent overlays of the region surrounding the nominal source position to the appropriate Palomar Sky Survey print and the measurement of the difference between the nominal and actual positions. Differences between nominal and measured positions were obtained with an error of less than 3 arcsec rms in each coordinate, and are found to be quite substantial in some cases.
