Photoelectric light curves for the Algol-type variable star GW Geminorum are presented and discussed in relation to system orbital elements. The observations were made in the B and V filters at the 102-cm reflector of Merate Observatory during the years 1978 and 1979. Five epochs of primary and four epochs of secondary eclipse are derived from 1252 differential B magnitudes and 1272 differential V magnitudes measured on 14 nights, which, when compared with previous data, indicate the period of GW Gem to be constant. Analysis of the light curve by the differential correction method to take into account the variability of the comparison star results in elements corresponding to a semidetached system consisting of a primary of spectral type A8 and a secondary G3-G4 subgiant filling its Roche lobe.
